Established in 1865, The Gober Cemetery is located just east of the Gober community in Fannin County, Texas. The cemetery is administered and maintained by the Gober Cemetery Association and funded by generous donations and endowments. Our Shared Vision
The Cemetery Board feels certain that each of us desires to do all we can to help maintain and beautify the Cemetery in a cost effective manner. However, over the years some things have occurred that make maintenance of the cemetery more difficult and more costly. We know that none of us would intentionally cause a problem and that the establishment and distribution of a few requirements will solve the difficulty.
In order to maintain and beautify the cemetery, we are asking everyone's cooperation with a few interment regulations the Board has established. To have the most attractive and well maintained cemetery possible, we must all work together and be maintenance conscious.
